About the wine
In the north of the city of Bordeaux are the gravelly, gravelly soils that offer the winemaker from the French winery Château Batailley everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
Dark garnet, quite rich in the middle, ruby edge. Delicately spicy, elegant bouquet, dark plums, floral, some licorice, medium depth. Elegant on the palate, showing some plum peel in the extract, aromatic finish of medium length. A very pleasant Pauillac.
Culinary recommendation
Beef, lamb, game and wild fowl. It is also an ideal accompaniment to cheese.
Vinification
18 months in French oak barriques (60% of which, new).
