About the wine
The winery is one of the chosen ones who were invited by Napoleon III to the 1855 World's Fair in Paris and classified there. Since then, the wines of Chateau Cantemerle have been classified as Grand Cru Classé. The 87-hectare estate in Haut Medoc vinifies the grapes in oak barrels and leaves them to mature in barriques for one and a half years.

Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 5-10 years after harvest.
