About the wine
The gravelly soils north and east of Gironde and Dordogne form the breeding ground for this Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemaker from the French winery Château de Pressac knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Cabernet Sauvignon with pizza with mushrooms or Gruyère burgers.
Tasting note
The refreshing bouquet of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows aromatic complexity and lots of finesse. The dominant notes of black cherry, black plum and black pepper create their individual texture. A fruity red wine with a strong body and dominant acidity, which pleasantly develops its complex structure with finely developed tannins on the tongue and on the palate. This top wine received the award: Weinwisser 18/20 points, Parker 90 points, Wine-Spectator 92 points.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for red wine is slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 10-15 years. Flaschenpöstler tip: Perfect with pizza with mushrooms, red meat and ribeye steak.
