About the wine
This distinctive red wine 2012 — Chateau de Vufflens Merlot Grand Cru Morges AOC is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The winemaker from the Swiss winery Bolle has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny landscape of Vaud. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience if you offer this Merlot with poultry or slightly spicy red meat.
Tasting note
Color: dark but brilliant, with red-violet reflections; bouquet: aromas of black fruit (blueberries, ripe cherries) and spices (vanilla, cloves); palate: Beautifully rounded wine, marked by notes of fruit, with a subtle touch of oak. The tannins are velvety and smooth.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with young people, and goes perfectly with summer specialities (carpaccio, grilled meats). After a year in the bottle, it goes well with game, red meat and hard cheese.
