About the wine

Château Giscours's domain covers 300 hectares, of which 83 hectares are planted with vines. In 1847, the Comte de Pescatore laid the foundation stone for the remarkable castle that dominates the vineyard. In 1995 Eric Albada Jelgersma acquired the Château Giscours with the intention of ensuring continuity and creating a Grand Cru Classé which enjoys worldwide reputation.
