About the wine
Château Giscours's domain covers 300 hectares, of which 83 hectares are planted with vines. In 1847, the Comte de Pescatore laid the foundation stone for the remarkable castle that dominates the vineyard. In 1995 Eric Albada Jelgersma acquired the Château Giscours with the intention of ensuring continuity and creating a Grand Cru Classé which enjoys worldwide reputation. 2019 will be delivered with an excellent drinking maturity and from 6 bottles in the original wooden box.

Tasting note
The playful bouquet of fruit compote, spices and tobacco shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of finesse. The dominant nuances of black cherry, black plum and black pepper shape their individual texture. Its noble ruby red is the icing on the cake of any special evening. Your guests will confirm it. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a strong body and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its masterly quality.
