About the wine
The philosophy of the Château Guiraud winery stems from the opinion that good wine is only produced when terroir, respect for nature and prudence come together. These values shape the process on the Château Guiraud and the wines. The Château Guiraud winery is located 45 km south of Bordeaux, on the left bank of the Garonne. Château Guiraud covers 128 hectares.

Tasting note
This remains in the memory: Its deep ruby red pleases the eye first and then the mind. The refreshing aromas of red plum, clove and prune express a lot of finesse with a very unique structure. Next, the fruity nuances of strawberry and pepper reveal their own character. Medium-bodied and dominant acidity result in the white wine, which, balanced with fine tannins in the mouth, shows a lot of character and class. This top wine received the award: 92-93/100 points James Suckling.
Culinary recommendation
The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2025 — 2060. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes well with ravioli, meatballs with tomato sauce and goat cheese.
Vinification
Die Trauben werden von Hand gelesen. Die Gärung wird in neuen Holzfässern, über einen Zeitraum von drei Wochen bis zwei Monaten, durchgeführt. Die Lagerung erfolgt ebenfalls auf dem Fass.
