Deep purple, rich in the middle, garnet shimmer on the edge. Very restrained bouquet, the distinctly red-berry nose play also reveals appealing notes reminiscent of tea herbs, verbena and mint. Very straight on the palate, finely supportive acidity, lots of direct fruit, red cherries, cassis, pomegranate seeds, raspberries, has so much Burgundian about it, still slightly floury in the tannins, sometimes even robust, with the characteristics of a wine that has a small desire to be pleasing early and thus has a potential of over 30 years.
