About the wine
This striking Merlot 2014 — Chateau L'Eglise Clinet A.C. Pomerol crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The gravelly, calcareous soils north and east of the Gironde and Dordogne form the breeding ground for this Merlot. The winemaker from the French winery Château du Domaine de L'Eglise knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Tasting note
Less known than Pétrus, as it is much smaller, Château L'Eglise-Clinet still represents the top of Pomerol. His wines are full-bodied, full-bodied, and complex.
