About the wine

Built in the 19th century and opposite the Gioronde, Château Phélan-Ségur is now run by Xavier Gardinier and his three sons. Their wines are powerful, concentrated and balanced. Lots of French refinement - straight from Bordeaux!

Tasting note
The Saint-Estèphe appellation is located in the Haut-Médoc Bordeaux sub-area and is known for its outstanding wines. This Château Phélan Ségur Bourgeois is truly exceptional!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, lamb, Mediterranean cuisine and Chateaubriand with Béarnaise sauce.
Vinification
The 14 to 18-month ageing is carried out in oak barriques (50 - 60% new).
