Tasting note
Ruby red with purple and sometimes almost black reflections. Aromas of black fruits in particular cassis, licorice, dried plum, fig notes and cedar. A wine with power and elegance, density and abundance.

Vinification
Around half of production is expanded in new barrels, 10 to 15% in second-filled barrels and, since 2012, 30 to 40% in Dolia (concrete amphorae). This new way of aging wines reflects the determination to produce wines that are free from any artificiality. The aim is to reveal the essence of wine and not its nature. Depending on the type of wine, the aging period in barrels varies between 16 and 18 months.
