About the wine
The winemaker from the French winery Château Poujeaux greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of Bordeaux. This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 — Chateau Poujeaux Cru Grand Bourgeois Excetionelle Moulis AOC is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you serve this Cabernet Sauvignon with Gruyère burgers or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
Bright purple, berry bouquet with aromas of cherries, wild strawberries and blackberries, also shows gently toasted wood barrel notes, on the palate with richness and power, nice concentration of aromas, powerful, very berry, on the finish with still youthful, very present tannins, long-lasting with distinct wood barrel nuances.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended for pizza with mushrooms, red meat and ribeye steak. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
