About the wine
Christmas 2018 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this powerful white wine 2017 — Chenin Blanc Original! Sunny and fertile landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Raats Family Wines conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience if you offer this chenin blanc with pretzel sticks or puff pastry pastries.

Tasting note
Light yellow - aromas of apple and citrus fruits on the nose. Fresh, fruity and very drinkable on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The white wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 9°-11°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2025. Flaschenpöstler tip: Chenin Blanc Original goes perfectly with puff pastry, meatballs with tomato sauce and pretzel sticks.
Vinification
The vinification took place as follows: This wine was aged in a steel tank. It then aged on lees for a further 6 months.
