About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Fattoria Le Fonti is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originated in the flourishing and fertile Tuscan countryside. Tasting note
A thoroughbred Sangiovese. A multi-faceted, elegant and unobtrusive bouquet. Tasty in the base, fresh, elegant and well-structured, with matching tannins. Full, deep and long-lasting on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Chianti Classico DOCG passt hervorragend zu Pasta, Rindfleisch und Lamm.
Vinification
Mash fermentation takes 20 to 30 days. A third of the wine is then aged in barriques for around a year, the rest in glazed cement tanks. After a further 6 months of bottle aging, the wine is released for trade.
