The grapes for Chianti Classico come from different plots. Everything is designed to produce an incredibly dense wine: extremely low yields (not above 4 dl/m2), the ageing takes place in barriques, which further concentrates ingredients and aromas. The grape mash ferments spontaneously, without the addition of breeding yeasts. The ageing process in barriques made from Allier and Tronçais oak lasts one year. The result exceeds all expectations. The typicality of Sangiovese is excellent, ripe notes of wild berries and a hint of smoke are clearly perceptible in the bouquet. There is opulence on the palate. Production: 170,000 bottles.
