Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this outstanding Sangiovese 2018 — Chianti Classico DOCG! The winemaker from the Italian winery Querciabella has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing Tuscan countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Sangiovese with beef or pasta.
Tasting note
The Chianti Classico is bright ruby red with an open-hearted nose of ripe cherries and raspberries, notes of violet and delicate spice. On the palate, it is versatile, juicy and rich. Lots of dark fruit and notes of violet and licorice. Elegant and juicy right through to the finale.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Chianti Classico DOCG harmoniert ausgezeichnet mit Lamm, Pasta und Rindfleisch.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyards and harvested by hand. Then traditional mash fermentation for 12 days at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred to French barriques and tonnauxs. The maturing period is up to 14 months.
