About the wine
With this dominant Chardonnay 2015 — Chiaranda DOP Bianco Contessa Entellina, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The winemaker from the Italian winery Donnafugata has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the fertile and blooming landscape of Sicily. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Chardonnay can be served very well with goat cheese or poultry.

Tasting note
The Chiarandà is straw-yellow in color. Its bouquet is complex, with notes of fresh tropical fruits, meadow herbs and roasted hazelnuts. The palate is extensive and well-structured and is characterized by a fresh and spicy mineral note. A complex white wine with a long and satisfying persistence and with great aging potential.

Flaschenpost team tip: Goes perfectly with goat cheese, truffles and soft cheese.
Vinification
8 months on the yeasts, partly in French oak (65% in first and second occupancy barriques) and partly in small cement tanks (35%).
