About the wine
Treat your family and friends over Christmas dinner with this fresh Tempranillo 2020 — CL98 Ribera del Duero DO 2020. Picturesque and magnificent landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Casa Rojo conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
The CL98 has an intense cherry red color. On the nose, red fruit compote and interesting notes of herbs such as thyme. Long and fresh aftertaste on the palate with notes of scrubland and undergrowth.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2026. Flaschenpost team tip: CL98 Ribera del Duero DO 2020 goes well with red meat, barbecue and lasagna.
