Clarendelle belongs to Clarence Dillon Wines, which also owns the legendary Bordeaux Châteaux Haut-Brion. Of course, Clarendelle's vines don't grow alongside those of Haut-Brion. However, the great art of Bordeaux wines (even the best) is the blending, the ability to combine wines from different locations and grape varieties in such a way that the result is greater than the sum of the individual parts. The same team that is responsible for the top wines at Clarence Dillon Wines also makes the assemblages at Clarendelle. The result is excellent Bordeaux wines at affordable prices.
