About the wine

Tasting note
The Rupert & Rothschild Classique ensnares the nose with inviting aromas of dark fruits and fragrant pencil chips as well as with finely earthy notes. A classic Bordeaux-style cuvée with a supple soft texture and delicious nuances of aromatic spices, tea leaves and dark chocolate, which end in a long-lasting and soft finish. It is recommended to decant the wine before consumption
Culinary recommendation
Goes very well with Szeged goulash.
Vinification
The grapes for the Rupert & Rothschild Classique were harvested by hand and selected with great care for the rest of the production process. Alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with extended duration on the skin. After the fermentation was complete, the wine matured for 16 months in 225 l French oak barrels.
