Tasting note
Beautiful cherry red with a garnet red edge. Intense nose that reveals blackberries and blueberries. In addition, candied fruit, coffee, cocoa and liquorice. Very fine and elegant. A very flavorful, powerful wine. Concentrated sweet tannins Long and elegant finish. Clio is the absolute cult wine from Jumilla!
Culinary recommendation
With ribeye steak, pizza with mushrooms and red meat
Vinification
The grapes come from 12 ha of Cabernet Sauvignon and 32 ha of very old Monastrell vineyards, which have a very low yield. To prevent harvest damage, the grapes are harvested in small baskets. This is followed by another very rigorous selection. This El Nido masterpiece spends 22 to 26 months in French and American new barriques. Free of animal products - vegan certified.
