Tasting note
Intense red. Aromas of ripe cherries and violets, followed by notes of dried fruit, tobacco, tree nuts and leather. The acidity of the dominant Negroamaro gives this strong, fruity southern Italian the right structure.

Vinification
Destemming is followed by classic 10-day mash fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine then matures for 12 months in private barrels and a further 12 months in steel tanks.
