About the wine
Blooming and fertile landscapes of Abruzzo give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Rosarubra conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. With this provocative Merlot — Colline Pescaresi Rosso IGT Intimo, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Merlot is excellent to serve with slightly spicy red meat or duck.
Tasting note
A balanced, full-bodied wine of dark black red with wonderfully strong, full aromas of blackberry, plum and dried fruit, along with spicy vanilla notes, cocoa and chocolate. A light opening sweetness, velvety tannins and an incredibly soft, full and harmonious structure enchant the palate. A long, lasting finish rounds off this treat.
