About the wine
The dominant red wine 2013 — Cor Romigberg Cabernet Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Alois Lageder masters this red wine in the blooming and picturesque landscape in South Tyrol. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Cabernet Sauvignon with red meat or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Complex on the nose, with concentrated notes of ripe, dark fruit, cassis, plums and cherry compote. This is accompanied by charming roasted notes and spicy components. Powerful and dynamic on the palate. With rich but polished tannins. Again, ripe, dark berries, compote fruit, black chocolate and some tobacco. Long, delightful aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
A fine accompaniment to a hearty T-bone steak of the highest quality.
