About the wine
South of Naples in Campania, the Montevetrano winery outshines the scene, and we still regard it as a kind of secret tip. With grandiose trade press praise, the start of the early 90s was tailor-made, and the demand for it was barely manageable. Responsible is the clever and sensitive, quality-fanatic Silvia Imparato, in cooperation with star oenologist Riccardo Cotarella. With Core, Montevetrano offers an outstanding red wine made from the ancient Aglianico grape variety, in the style of Silvia's preferences for balance, finesse and Burgundian elegance.
