Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this dominant Shiraz 2019 — Cornas AC Domaine de Saint-Pierre! The winemaker from the French winery Paul Jaboulet Aîné greets us with this wine, which he grows in the countryside of the Côtes du Rhône. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Shiraz with game or barbecue.

Tasting note
Ripened and dark berry bouquet, with spicy and slightly roasted notes. Very strong and aromatic wine that tastes of cherries, pepper, herbs and licorice and has strong tannins in the finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, venison and lamb.
Vinification
Hand picked in small boxes. Extraction for 4 weeks. Ageing for 4 weeks in 20% new French oak barrels.
