About the wine

Gramona is a family-owned winery that was founded in 1881 and is today managed by Jaume and Xavier Gramona in the 5th generation. While other cava producers have responded to market challenges with quantity, Gramona is committed unconditionally to quality and has long been regarded as the best and finest address for cava. The vinification is rigorously based on long, often several years of aging on fine yeast and on grapes from the best sites in Pénedes, such as La Plane and the steep slopes of Mas Escorpi. Gramona Cava have a firm structure, harmony and fine acidity like only large champagnes, but they all have a greater expressivity.
