About the wine
It is an icon and sets the standard for Amarone: the Costasera from Masi. It keeps the perfect balance between fruit sweetness and tannins. A high-class Amarone that crowns every banquet.
Tasting note
Dark, dense ruby red. Wonderfully intense on the nose with notes of ripe plums, fruit compote and sweet warm spices, complex and rich in finesse. Juicy, complex and dense on the palate. Once again, fine, ripe aromas, memories of rum pot are awakened. A composition of sweet-ripe fruits with a very harmonious tannin structure, accompanied by elegant acidity and a long, aromatic finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes, game and also with ripe gorgonzola or parmigiano.
