About the wine
There is something left over from Christmas dinner every year. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends over for a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal again and we recommend this hearty Shiraz 2018 — Côtes du Lubéron Réserve Château Val Joanis "Les Griottes" MC. The winemaker from the French winery Château Val Joanis greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Côtes du Rhône countryside. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this Shiraz with roasted vegetables or a barbecue.
Tasting note
The vines thrive on soils rich in pebbles. This cru has an intense purple color. It is well developed, fruity, smooth and round. Aromas of cassis and ripe, red fruits dominate. “This cru reminds us a lot of a light “Côte Rôtie”, but its price is significantly cheaper.”
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats, grilled meats, hard cheeses.
