About the wine

Founded by Aimé Sabon in 1967 and rose to the top, where the Domaine is now an integral part of the new generation Christophe and Isabelle Sabon. In the small appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape alone, Janasse owns almost 20 ha with vines up to over 100 years old. A treasure that is cultivated and organically farmed here. Even in the cellar, only minimal interventions to let the unique terroirs speak for themselves: spontaneous fermentation, no filtration, hardly any new wood. The wines are fascinating unique, with an original, classic vein and a noble elegance, freshness and comparatively low alcohol levels for the region. Châteauneuf-du-Pape straight out of a picture book, without sweet excesses. World-class!
