About the wine
“Without our land, without our vineyards, we would be nothing,” say the people at El Coto de Rioja. That is why it was the bodega's declared goal from the outset to only press wine from its own vines. With around 730 hectares, the company now owns the largest vineyard area in Rioja
Tasting note
Color: Dense ruby red with shiny reflections. Aroma: Ripe, complex aroma experience, dried fruit, delicate spice, exquisite barrique notes (leather, coffee, brioche, tobacco), a fine earthy touch of undergrowth. Body: Very long, soft drink, strong body, presence of tannins and acids, distinctive palate aromas, lasting finish. Quality: Well-structured wine with an opulent aftertaste, refined and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roast beef served with gratin dauphinois, classic roast veal in the oven, Tessin style kids and mature white cheese.
