About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta do Crasto masters this white wine with sensitivity and intuition in the sunny and blooming landscape of the Douro Valley. Give yourself a treat for the senses with the delicious Crasto Superior DOC from 2016!

Tasting note
Light lemon color, with slight golden reflections. Very fresh on the nose, with vivid citrus aromas and delicate floral notes of orange blossom. The elegant palate offers good volume and texture, and is full of refreshing mineral notes. The finish is fresh, balanced and long-lasting.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with freshwater fish, poultry and veal.
Vinification
The grapes are selected, destemmed and pressed. The juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks and left at 8ºC for 48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks and the wine is then transferred to French oak barrels, where fermentation lasts 45 days at 14ºC. Ageing for 6 months in French oak barrels while stirring the yeast. New barrels 50%/Used barrels 50%; French oak barrels 85%; French oak barrels with acacia heads 15%
