About the wine
Named after the younger of the two sisters, the Lar de Paula winery has already made a name for itself beyond the Spanish borders. Paula and Patricia have not only been able to assert themselves in the male-dominated Rioja region, they have also given the wine as such a dash more femininity and a fruity aroma.

Tasting note
Deep purplish red. Explosion of primary aromas with complex and persistent nuances of black fruit and toasted notes. Medium bodied with polished tannins but good intensity. A balanced pass in the mouth with fresh acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meats, legumes and vegetable dishes.
Vinification
Maceration for 2-3 days at 16°C. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 28-30°C for 10-12 days. Ageing for 12 months in French and American oak.
