About the wine
Natural and balanced wines — animally good. A particularly tasty Toscana IGT, soft yet strong thanks to the combination of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. The bouquet is initially reminiscent of very ripe fruit (blackberries and blueberries) and then becomes spicier with chocolate and vanilla aromas. Its fine and pleasant tannins give it a persistent, ripe finish. Flaschenpöstler Tip: Perfect accompaniment to dark meat and grilled meats of all kinds and game dishes.

Tasting note

Its fine and pleasant tannins give it a persistent, ripe finish. Eye: intense ruby red. Nose: ripe fruit, spicy, aromas of chocolate and vanilla. Palate: Medium-bodied, fruity, fine and pleasant tannins, persistent and ripe aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with dark meat, grilled meats of all kinds and game dishes.
Vinification
6 months in barriques, then 18 months in oak vats.
