About the wine
Beautiful and fertile landscapes of Vaud give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Swiss winery Obrist conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Chasselas can be served very well with terrines or aperitifs.
2025 - 2027
Tasting note
Sparkling, bright yellow, with golden reflections. Intense, complex aromas of peach and pear, framed by floral notes and lime blossom flavor. Wonderfully balanced, smooth, full-bodied, fruity and melt-in-the-mouth, lots of refinement, long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters, fish and seafood terrines, perch fillets, char, pike, white meat, fondue with Freiburg Vacherin, cheese platter.
Vinification
Traditional winemaking, aging in large oak vats.
