About the wine
To get a feel for the mountainous and hilly beauty of Valais, there is no way around this red wine, which the Swiss winery Charles Bonvin Fils masters with a keen sense of texture. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This shiraz is ideal to be served with venison or barbecue.

Tasting note
The noble Syrah and the rustic Cornalin get married here in a fascinating marriage. To mark the 150th anniversary of Bonvin 1858 Les Domaines, this exceptional cuvée was presented for the first time. The skilful barrique ageing is reflected in aromas of cigar, coconut and frankincense. The aroma fan is multi-faceted with notes of lilies, dried fruits and orange zest, rose peppers, eucalyptus, anise and mint, to name just a few. Finely polished tannins and remarkable aromatic persistence give the wine noble finesse and elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes well with roasted vegetables, barbecue and game. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: 3-10 years after the harvest.
Vinification
Information on vinification: The wine is prepared according to tradition as it was 150 years ago. After hand-picking, the grapes are fermented in open wooden barrels, whereby the mash is constantly submerged by hand. The young wine is aged in new barriques and, after maturing for 18 months, is bottled unfiltered. An original template from this period was used for the label.
