About the wine
This powerful Chardonnay 2014 — Cuvee Lauberhorn Blanche Neuchatel AOC is in the truest sense of the word a hit right down to the last drop! With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Domaine Cressier masters this white wine in the fertile landscape in Neuchâtel. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Chardonnay is excellent to serve with poultry or truffles.
Tasting note
Color: Bright, bright gold with a fine, grey-green shimmer. Aroma: Dense bouquet, multi-faceted with exotic notes of fresh pineapple, ripe apricots, balsamic, honey and resin, delicate white flowers. Body: Rich, fresh, balanced palate, beautiful aromas, good structure with a balsamic and tart finish that gives the wine race. Quality: Pleasantly fruity, racy wine, a perfect all-rounder.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif with pastries, traditional cheese specialties, freshwater fish fried in butter.
