About the wine
The striking Sauvignon Blanc 2014 — Cuvee Prestige Sancerre AC is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. Fertile and picturesque landscapes of the Loire give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the French winery Lucien Crochet conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Sauvignon Blanc can be served very well with white meat or mussels.

Tasting note
Color: Bright yellow, greenish reflections. Aroma: Nice complexity, notes of dried apricots. Citrus fruits and elderflower, complemented by a distinct mineral. Character: Fresh start, replaced by lots of litchi grapefruit aromas, gooseberries and a fine pineapple exoticism. Flint notes, very fresh and invigorating, lingering finish.
Culinary recommendation
Fine starters, shrimp dishes, vitello tonnato, pasta dishes with béchamelle sauces, grilled fish, poultry, white meat and cheese.
Vinification
Hand picked. Temperature-controlled ageing on the fine yeast for 30 days. Bottled approx. 1 year after harvest.
