About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Alvaro Castro has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny landscape in Dão. With the special Dao DOC Quinta da Pellada from 2012, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
The color is clear, medium ruby red, followed by intense aromas of fully ripe, dark fruits and berries. Elegant tannins on the palate, the aromas reciprocate, the whole very harmoniously rounded off. The finish is long. Lots of wine enjoyment. Be sure to use large wine glasses.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, venison, Mediterranean cuisine.
