About the wine
The Vins et Vignobles Les Tourelles winery is located in the heart of Lavaux, right next to the Tour de Marsens. Chasselas is the most important grape variety in the UNESCO-protected wine-growing region on Lake Geneva. Here the variety reaches its highest quality and best characteristics. The Tour de Marsens is the oldest building in Lavaux, dating back to 1160. The vineyards around the tower were already planted and cultivated by monks at that time. Its location and tradition make this Grand Cru absolutely unique!
Tasting note
Color: Medium yellow with golden hues. Aroma: Rich bouquet of honey, white flowers, lime and gooseberry, as well as fresh bread. Character: Tasty and full of aromas of yellow drupes and lime blossom, with a fine balance between fruit flavors and acidity. Extraordinary finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with salmon, sole or pike, but also with various delicious cheeses.
Vinification
Aging in INOX stainless steel tanks.
