About the wine
The powerful Pinot Gris 2013 — Die Versuchung Weiss is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. The nature of the thermal region can be described with such words as hilly or mountainous. However, the Austrian Weingut Krug is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This pinot gris is excellent to serve with ceviche or salad.
Tasting note
Light greenish yellow. Green apple fruit underlaid with fine meadow herbs, delicate white pear fruit nuances, a hint of citrus notes, lemongrass. Juicy, elegant, multi-faceted acid structure, mineral, yellow fruit on the finish, extract-sweet on the back taste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with starters, terrines & pies, fish & seafood, Asian dishes, soft and hard cheeses.
