About the wine
If Valentine's Day was a wine, it would definitely be the distinctive Primitivo 2018 — DIVUS Rosso Passito IGP. The winemaker from the Italian winery Compagnia Mediterranea has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing landscape in Puglia. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience when you serve this Primitivo with spicy hard cheese or pasta.
Tasting note
Dark opaque crimson. Aromas of dark dried fruits, licorice and pepper flow into this nose. The very full-bodied wine is a treat for the palate. The tannins are juicy and round. The wonderful body is rounded off with aromas of very ripe dried fruit and chocolate.
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
The wine is made from grapes that have been dried before they are vinified. This partial raisination takes place directly on the vine. In Italian wines, this process is called appassimento or passito.
