About the wine
Rosa was born from the partnership between Dolce&Gabbana and Donnafugata, two outstanding representatives of Made in Italy, which combines unconditional love for Sicily, passion for work and attention to detail. A rosé wine of elegant minerality and an exceptional scent.
Vegan
Tasting note
Of a bright pale pink color, the pink presents a rich floral bouquet of jasmine flowers and Rose petals and fine fruity notes of white peach and bergamot. It has a pleasant scent and shows good minerality and length.
Culinary recommendation
It is perfect as an aperitif, with raw fish dishes, vegetarian dishes and tender meat.
Vinification
The cold maceration of the grapes in the must lasted 6-12 hours and allowed the best extraction of the aromatic precursors as well as the color that characterizes this rosé. After fermentation at controlled temperature, the final blend was made from Nerello Mascalese and Nocera; then refined for 2 months in tank and at least 3 months in bottle before release.
