About the wine

Tasting note
Brilliant ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, inviting floral notes of violets, sour cherries and spices. On the palate, the wine starts off juicy, with precise acidity and an elegant texture. The tannins are finely ground and well integrated. Aromas of red wild berries, again a fine herbal spice and also floral notes. Aromatic, tasty aftertaste of good length.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with Piedmontese antipasti and pasta.
Vinification
The Dolcetto grapes come from the Falleto di Serralunga vineyard in the municipality of Alba. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the mash is fermented in steel tanks. The young wine is aged for six months in medium-sized wooden barrels. The vinification is completed by three to six months of bottle aging.
