Domaine de Crochet Sextuor Etikette Hans Erni 2017 - Charles Rolaz / Hammel SA

About the wine

Sunny and fertile landscapes of Vaud give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Swiss winery Charles Rolaz / Hammel SA conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Domaine de Crochet Sextuor Etikette Hans Erni. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent with ribeye steak or pizza with mushrooms.

Charles Rolaz / Hammel SARed wine | 75cl1314°-16°CMerlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Gamay
Tasting note
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with autumn mushrooms, game dishes in sauce, rabbit, wild boar tenderloin, turkey, leg of lamb, shoulder of lamb, kidneys, black truffles and seasoned pork.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and selected by hand; upon arrival in the cellar, the best berries are carefully sorted out. The harvest yields low and the harvest is partially or completely destemmed. This is followed by a long mash fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months.
