About the wine
The Sicily branch of the Mazzei family is located not far from Noto in one of the most scenic wine-growing regions of the island. She can rely on the support of the oenologist icon Carlo Ferrini to care for the Nero d'Avola holdings and in the cellar.

Tasting note
Dense ruby purple. On the nose, fresh aromas of black cherries, ripe berries and some honey, notes of tobacco, coffee, cocoa and wood, slightly balsamic. On the palate, the doppiozeta is complex and elegant, with velvety, savory tannins, juicy berry fruit. Long lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 18°-20°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2016 - 2022. Flaschenpost team tip: Doppiozeta Zisola Rosso DOC goes perfectly with roasted vegetables, barbecue and game.
