Tasting note
Dense ruby red with garnet reflections. Very complex and rich in finesse on the nose. Intense notes of licorice, cherries and plums marinated in port wine, the finest toasted notes, with some cinnamon, coconut and dark chocolate. A very complex start on the palate, fine aromas of ripe red fruits, some plum compote and liquorice.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Dorina Lindemann goes perfectly with pasta, red meat and barbecue. Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 8-9 years.
Vinification
Slowly fermented for 12 days. Aged for 18 months in new French barriques.
