About the wine
Catherine Delaunay-Favre, winemaker and head of the Les Jamelles winery, still produces down-to-earth, original wines with a strong personality by hand and with great attention to detail. Or as she says: “Wines with a special spirit.”
Tasting note
Strong black red shimmering in purple and an overwhelming bouquet of berries (blackberry, raspberry, red currant) characterize this wine; there is also a hint of mint and cherry. In the mouth, it is slightly sweet, incredibly harmonious and full-bodied, the aromatic berry notes are completed by vanilla aspects.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty meat dishes (including game), vegetable casseroles and legumes as well as hard cheese.
