Tasting note
Deep, velvety dark red with a black core, distinctive viscosity, unfiltered. Dense, multi-faceted aromas, ripe, dark berries (cassis, cherry), compote-like, plums combine with toasted, smoky notes, a touch of delicately rosinizing grapes makes a nice finish. Body: Very long, full-bodied drink, creamy, velvety on the palate, well-integrated tannins, subtle acidity, wonderfully aromatic in the aftertaste. Complex, rich and full-bodied wine of high quality, has a bright future.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled or braised meats, especially beef, lamb and game. Spicy pasta dishes, aged cheeses and hearty stews also harmonize perfectly with its structure. Thanks to its richness and depth, it also accompanies Mediterranean specialities such as eggplant parmesan or truffle dishes.
