About the wine
With the delicious Eikendal Classic Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc from 2013, you will positively surprise your friends. Sunny and beautiful landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Eikendal conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience.
Tasting note
Nice dark red. Appealing bouquet of berries, chocolate and toasted oak. Strong and well-structured - fine tannins, long-lasting aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with the back of lamb, chateaubriand, duck and much more.
Vinification
The individual cuvée ingredients are vinified and aged separately. After a maturing period of 18 months in barrique barrels, they are blended together and aged again in barriques.
